Module 4 : Reading Assignment 4 - Christopher Marlowe

The theme - instant gratification of sexual passions or fast passionate love. The Nymph is slow to love and cautious while the shepherd is impulsive and starry eyed.

This is an example of a pasoral poem. The Speaker talks about paradise in his surroundings and places them in this "Eden". He tries to convince the Nymph that fast love is good. She is cautious and believes differently.
